Anti Static Mat Grounding Cords connect esd and conductive anti static mats to a building ground (such as an electrical outlet) or an earth ground cable to help protect sensitive electronic equipment from damage due to an electrical discharge.
Each grounding cord for anti static mats is tested to meet Type 1, 2 & 3 requirements.
These anti static mat grounding cords have an integral 1,000,000 Ohm resistor to transfer the electrical charge away from the floor mat.
The solderless terminal can be connected to an electrical outlet using the screw in the outlet cover.
A molded-in male snap fastener connects to the snap on the anti static mat. For mats that do not have a fastner, a punch-through grounding cord kit is available.
